2016 Goddesses of Olympus: Hera. Mint State 70 Antiqued - High Relief. NGC Certified, Graded & Authenticated. The reverse of the coin depicts Hera wearing a polos crown, sitting on a throne in the Temple of Hera, holding a pomegranate in her right hand. Hera is pictured with three peacocks.

The inscription HERA also appears in the design. The obverse portrays the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2017 year-date. To capture the depth and detail of the design, the coin is struck in high relief to a rimless format. Each coin has been individually'antiqued' to give it a unique finish conveying the surface of an ancient artifact. As a result of this treatment the appearance of each coin has a slight variation.
