Dedicated to adventure and discovery by sea, this 2019 Fair Winds proof release features the nautical Anchor. The 38.61 mm diameter coin is struck from 2 Troy oz. 999 fine silver at the Mayer Mint GmbH Germany, its mintage limited to just 999 proofs. The reverse features a highly polished anchor entwined with a length of thick nautical rope struck in dramatic high relief, contrasted against a mirrored black proof background adorned with a compass design and the inscription FAIR WINDS & FOLLOWING SEAS. The obverse is adorned with the profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as designed by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, inscribed "ELIZABETH II, " "10 DOLLARS, " "COOK ISLANDS" and 2019.
