2022 Cook Islands 1 oz Silver Spirit of Liberty Bison Low Mintage! UNC

This is the 2022 Niue Silver Song of the Buffalo - the Spirit of Liberty bison issue - 1 troy ounce of. One side is a full American-plains scene: a Native warrior in a buffalo-horn headdress with a herd moving behind him.

The other is a lone bison under a sunburst, with the "SPIRIT OF LIBERTY" legend and the official Niue public-seal / Two Dollars imprint sitting in the field. Theme buyers both chase this one because the design actually fills the flan instead of floating a tiny animal in empty space. Public Seal of Niue with the bison motif in the legal-tender cartouche. "PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE" / "ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI".

Native American figure in traditional buffalo-horn headdress. Herd and mountain plains in the background. Legend: "SONG OF THE BUFFALO". High-relief hair, horns, and landscape - this is the side that photographs like a small sculpture. 1 troy ounce (31.1 g).

Brilliant Uncirculated with strong luster - the exact coin in the photos. Limited 2022 commemorative issue, not an open bullion strike. Official catalog reference: Numista N# 425578.
