Silver Ultra High Relief Proof. Just 500 coins were struck by the Mayer Mint in Germany using the Smartminting technology to create such a superb specimen. Some of the devices on the coin actually rise up off the flat surface and create the Ultra High Relief effect. The Smartminting technology allows for this on both sides of the coin. You will notice a small black "pebble" struck into the obverse of the coin.

That's actually a piece of coal that was retrieved from the Titanic wreck at the bottom of the ocean. Talk about detail to design!

Mintage is just 500 coins. And that's for worldwide distribution! A Mint box and COA is included with this 3 Oz hulk.

BTW, at the top of the page is a company logo, seen most prominently on flags aboard the Titanic. The logo is that of the White Star Lines. Coin is struck by the Mayer Mint in Germany. For the South Pacific island nation of the Cook Islands.
