This is a handmade TAV dress from Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. The dress is a midi length fit and flare style with a round neckline and strappy sleeves. It features a floral pattern in orange and black, pullover style. The dress is made of 87% cotton and 13% spandex and should be hand washed only. It is a size M/12.

Block printing, painting and dip dyeing are all hand done using various fabric paints and techniques on the natural fibres of cotton, silk and linen as well as mixes of Lycra and rayon for perfect drape and design. This process means no 2 garments are the same, an artisanal piece inspired by our heritage.

The dress has a printed Hawaiian and tropical flowers such hibiscus, plumeria, and monstera leaf, making it perfect for summer, fall, and spring. I have use this dress a handful of times and it is very comfortable and flattering. It comes with a strap to use as a belt or you can use it as accessory for your hair.
